Polaris Marine, Inc. was launched because of the passion of its president, Rick Steenerson, in 1985. As a Coast guard licensed Captain, with numerous voyages and years of boating experience, he has the "hands on" perspective that most electrical system designers do not have. His mission is to insure that each system is designed for the safety of the passengers, crew and vessel.The Polaris team of systems designers and installation technicians have dedicated thousands of hours to construct yachts worthy of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) stamp of approval.
